Dr Lee Mathias ONZM RN died on 1st April 2026 after the sudden onset of pancreatitis.
She spent her last days at her hospital, Middlemore, with close friends, protégés, family, her sons and loving husband Rob.
Her impact and influence are evident in the overwhelming support the family has received since her death.
A public funeral will be held on Saturday 11th April at The Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell, at 2:00pm.
Lee will lie in state for mourners to pay their respects from 12:00pm.
