Passed away on 22nd September 2026 in Auckland. Aged 94 years.

Beloved husband of Margaret for 65 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Angus and Sarah and Bill Loutit. Cherished grandfather of Sam (London), John (Wellington), Ben (Perth), Jack (Kentucky), Poppy (Sydney) and Lily (Auckland). 

 A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, 446 Parnell Road, Parnell on Wednesday 30th September at 1pm.
